Apartment cleanouts
Need it gone before you hand back the keys?
Moving day gets close, and there’s still a mattress in the bedroom, a dresser you’re not taking, and boxes by the door. Tell us what’s left and when you need it out.
We’re two brothers based in Mint Hill. We help Charlotte renters, condo residents, landlords, and property managers remove unwanted contents from apartments. You don’t need to borrow a truck or carry everything downstairs first. Send photos and tell us how to reach the unit. We’ll review the pickup, give you a free estimate, and confirm the price before loading begins.

We carry it out
Still upstairs? We can carry the items out.
We remove approved items from inside your apartment. Tell us the floor number, whether there’s an elevator, and where the truck can load.
A couch beside a ground-floor entrance takes different work from one upstairs with a tight stair landing. Photos of large pieces and narrow turns help us assess the route before the appointment.

01
Stairs and no elevator?
Tell us how many flights are involved and whether the stairs have tight corners. Leave heavy items where they are until we’ve discussed the pickup.
If furniture won’t fit through the doorway or needs to be taken apart, send photos first. We’ll review what removal requires before agreeing to the work.
02
Elevator reservation or COI?
Ask your leasing office or property manager about contractor access. Your building may require a reserved elevator, service entrance, or loading window.
For an Uptown condo, check which entrance contractors use. For a South End apartment off South Boulevard, tell us whether loading is at the street, behind the building, or through a parking deck. We can provide a certificate of insurance when required. Share the requirements before pickup day.
What we remove
What can you include in an apartment junk pickup?
Ask about one item or several types together. We’ll confirm acceptance and preparation when we review your estimate.
Furniture, mattresses, household contents, and disconnected appliances can be part of the same pickup. Send photos of the items so we can discuss the work and access before your appointment.

- Couches, sectionals, recliners, and chairs
- Tables, desks, dressers, and bookcases
- Mattresses, box springs, and bed frames
- Moving boxes and unwanted household clutter
- Bagged non-hazardous items
- Disconnected appliances
- Electronics, after confirming handling with us
For one type of item, ask about our furniture, mattress, or appliance removal service. Appliances must be emptied and disconnected from water, electricity, or gas before pickup; we do not disconnect utility lines.
Ask before booking about unusually heavy pieces, attached items, or anything affected by pests, moisture, or contamination. We’ll confirm acceptance and any preparation needed. We do not take hazardous materials such as paint, chemicals, or fuel.
Another local option
Could Charlotte’s bulky pickup work for you?
Charlotte provides scheduled bulky-item collection for eligible apartment communities. Ask your property manager about your community’s arrangements. For city-served multifamily properties, approved items must be scheduled and placed in the designated bulky-item location near the dumpster or compactor—not inside either one.
That option may suit you if you can move the items to the approved area and work with the collection schedule. If the couch is still upstairs, you need several rooms cleared, or your move-out date is close, call us about carrying and hauling the items away.

Clear, job-specific estimates
What affects apartment cleanout cost in Charlotte?
Our minimum pickup price is $99. The final price depends on the job, the items, and the work involved. Cost depends on the amount and type of material, item weight, carrying work, and access to the truck. A mattress near the entrance is a different pickup from furniture spread across a third-floor apartment.
Stairs, long hallways, tight turns, and a distant loading area can affect the work. Send photos of everything you want removed, along with the floor, stairs or elevator, and loading location.
Estimates are free. You approve the price for the agreed work before loading begins. If you add items later, let us know so we can review the estimate with you.

Questions before you book
Apartment cleanouts, answered simply.
Can you pick up just one item?
Yes. You can request a single couch, mattress, dresser, or another accepted item. Send a photo and tell us where it is in the building.
Do you offer same-day apartment junk removal?
Yes. Call with your address, photos, and access details so we can check today’s openings and confirm whether your pickup fits the schedule.
Can I book an evening or weekend pickup?
Yes. Tell us your preferred time and check whether your building allows contractor access during those hours.
Does an apartment cleanout include deep cleaning?
No. Cleanouts cover removal of the agreed unwanted contents. Arrange carpet cleaning, scrubbing, and other cleaning work separately.
Do I have to bag everything before you arrive?
Tell us what you have when requesting the estimate. Keep loose contents separate from belongings you want to keep. We’ll discuss any preparation needed.
Can a property manager book the cleanout?
Yes. An authorized property contact can arrange the work. Identify approved removal items, who will provide access, and what must remain in the unit.
Ready when you are
What needs to go, and when do you need it gone?
Call with the item list, apartment address, and deadline. Photos help us see the work before we arrive. Whether it’s one heavy piece or a larger cleanout, we’ll review the pickup and give you a free estimate.
